Go for a Ride!

Planes, Trains and Automobiles

We're only about 2 miles from Albuquerque's International Airport--the Sunport.  A cab ride to/from the airport should cost under $10.  The Enterprise Rental people at the nearby First Street office will come and pick you up and deliver you back after your rental, which may save you some airport time and money.

If you're not in a hurry, you can take the city's free shuttle to downtown and there take the Zuni bus to within a couple of houses of 404.

Bikes!

Bike Rentals
Albuquerque's Nob Hill-University area is a great place to begin cycling.  We have terrific bike routes AND 2 bike rental shops nearby, just in case you'd like to drive around our town at a slower pace.

1.  Bike Coop

2.  Zagster Ci/Ci Fat Pipe

Access to their websites can be found on this Yelp link.

Bike Route Maps

We have fabulous Bike Routes that will take you all over Albuquerque--to the Bosque (Spanish for forest) which lies along the Rio Grande River to the mountains east of town.

To access the interactive map, just click on this link BIKE MAP.

Trains!

SOME DAY ABQ will again have a trolley/ train system, but until we do, we have the RailRunner which provides lovely service from Belen (to the south), through ABQ to Santa Fe.  It's a great and very inexpensive ride to the capital and to the wetlands.

(or Busses, if you're Old School, like me!)

Routes and Schedules

We are perfectly located to travel around town on our bus system.  Here's the link to the bus system: BUSES.

We are 2 houses from the eastbound Zuni line and a block + 2 houses from the westbound Zuni line, #97.

The Zuni line begins at the Alvarado Transit Station at First and Central downtown.  This also is our AmTrak and RailRunner train station.  The RaiiRunner light rail travels between Belen and Santa Fe.

Eastbound the Zuni line circles back at Wyoming Boulevard.  BUT if you transfer to the northbound 157 at Louisiana Boulevard (Expo New Mexico/State Fair Grounds) and go north, you'll find great shopping at the newly renovating Winrock Center, UpTown Center and Coronado Mall.

The Zuni line only runs M-F, but the Central Avenue line, which is 4 blocks north, runs 24/7, 365.
